Aerion’s parent company, Quito has achieved EcoVadis Silver Medal status

AERION ECOSYSTEM (ECS GROUP, GLOBAL GSA, TCE, CARGOTECH) ENTERS ECOVADIS TOP 15% WITH SILVER MEDAL VIA PARENT COMPANY QUITO.

  • Aerion’s parent company, Quito has achieved EcoVadis Silver Medal status, climbing up 10 points from its Bronze Medal status in 2025
  • EcoVadis Silver Medal places the Group in the top 15% of all assessed companies in the past 12 months
  • Aerion brings together ECS Group, Global GSA Group, TCE and CargoTech, acting as the commercial engine of the Group’s cargo ecosystem

Aerion is proud to highlight that its Group has reached a new milestone in its sustainability journey, as its parent company Quito has been awarded an EcoVadis Silver Medal following a detailed audit of its ESG management system, with a score of 76/100. This places the group among the top 15% of more than 150,000 companies assessed worldwide over the past 12 months and is a significant improvement on its 2025 Bronze Medal status (top 35%). The new accreditation is valid for 12 months and reflects the commitment and efforts of all teams across the Group, including Aerion, to:

  • Develop and deploy ESG policies aligned with international standards.
  • Implement a structured Climate Action Plan, including carbon reduction targets, employee climate training and initiatives to support the transition of our value chain.
  • Strengthen employee engagement through our Sustainability Ambassadors network, Charity Program, and DEI & Quality of Working Life (QWL) project.
  • Reinforce ESG governance, ethics, and cybersecurity practices across the organisation.
  • Monitor and report ESG performance through robust indicators and annual reporting.

Under the EcoVadis assessment system, four areas in every company are examined for evidence of ESG policies, actions, governance, reporting, and implementation. These are: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Quito’s Silver Medal status demonstrates a robust sustainability framework that exceeds basic compliance requirements. “We are delighted our Group has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal. It is a 10-point improvement on last year’s score of 66/100 and is a clear indication that the Future Now! Program has gained traction and continues to develop and improve across all group entities,” says Adrien Thominet, Chairman of Aerion. “Sustainability has been at the core of operations throughout our Group for a long time and this result reflects the continuous strengthening of our ESG management system as well as the collective contribution of the Group’s many teams from IT to Legal, HR, Finance, ESG, and across its 136 subsidiaries.”

Since the launch of its Future Now! Program in 2022, Aerion’s parent company has consistently sought to develop and deploy ESG policies aligned with international standards. A structured Climate Action Plan detailing carbon reduction targets, employee climate training and transition initiatives continues to be implemented, supported by a global Sustainability Ambassadors network and regular Executive Board sustainability topic discussions. The group places a strong focus on reinforcing ESG governance, ethics and cybersecurity and has provided mandatory training in these aspects as well as undergone ISO 27001 cybersecurity certification. It also extends its sustainability values to the selection of suppliers and has, to date, carried out ESG assessments for 10 of its largest headquarter suppliers. In addition to its Sustainability Ambassadors network, Quito ensures employee engagement through charity programs and a DEI & Quality of Working Life (QWL) initiative. All of these and further ESG initiatives, projects and KPIs are monitored and reported annually.

“This EcoVadis Silver Medal achievement marks an important milestone in our Group’s sustainability journey, however, we are aware that there is still room for improvement,” Adrien Thominet adds. “Two years ago, the group carried out a detailed sustainability survey among internal and external stakeholders, to identify the most significant sustainability challenges and opportunities for the company. These formed the core of an implementation plan that we continue to action. Our Group remains committed to working alongside our business partners to have a positive impact in the air cargo industry, and aiming for EcoVadis Gold in the near future.”
