Global Air Cargo Leaders to attend ACFI World Conclave’26

Global Air Cargo Leaders to Convene in India for ACFI World Conclave 2026

As global supply chains adapt to geopolitical shifts, digital transformation and evolving trade corridors, the international air cargo community will gather in New Delhi this August for one of the sector’s most significant leadership forums.

The 7th ACFI World Conclave 2026, presented by Cathay Cargo, will be held on 12–13 August 2026 at the Taj Palace, New Delhi. Organised by the Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI), the event is expected to bring together more than 700 senior executives, policymakers and supply chain leaders from across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and beyond.

Held under the theme “Reimagining Global Trade: India at the Forefront of Developing Resilient Supply Chains,” the conclave will serve as a platform for airlines, airports, freight forwarders, logistics companies, customs authorities, technology providers, investors and government representatives to discuss the future of air cargo and global trade.

The event comes at a pivotal time as India strengthens its position as a global manufacturing and logistics hub while playing an increasingly strategic role in connecting Asia with the Middle East and Europe. Discussions will focus on AI-powered logistics, digital air waybills, automation, multimodal connectivity, sustainability and the policies needed to build resilient supply chains.

Shri Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, Hon’ble Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of India, has been requested to grace the conclave as the Chief Guest, alongside senior government leaders and regulatory authorities.

Sanjiv Edward, President, Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI) and CEO – Cargo & Logistics, GMR Group, said:

“Resilience, reliability and digital connectivity have become as important as speed and cost. India has a unique opportunity to emerge as a preferred global logistics hub, and the ACFI World Conclave will bring together international leaders to build partnerships and shape the future of air cargo.”

Ramesh Mamidala, Vice President, ACFI and Head of Cargo, Air India Limited, said:

“The industry is being reshaped by changing trade routes, e-commerce growth and digitalisation. The conclave will provide a valuable platform to discuss practical solutions that strengthen operational efficiency and enhance India’s competitiveness in global logistics.”

India’s air cargo sector continues to demonstrate strong momentum, with cargo volumes reaching 39.63 lakh tonnes in FY26 despite global uncertainties. International freight now accounts for nearly two-thirds of total cargo, driven by pharmaceuticals, electronics, engineering goods, perishables and e-commerce. Continued investments in airport infrastructure, digital logistics and multimodal connectivity are further strengthening India’s role in global supply chains.

For global airlines, airports, logistics companies, technology providers, investors and policymakers, the ACFI World Conclave 2026 offers a unique opportunity to engage with industry leaders, explore new partnerships and contribute to the next phase of international cargo and supply chain transformation.

Logistics Shakti, the Strategic Partner for the conclave, has been actively promoting trade and logistics collaboration between India and the UAE while supporting strategic initiatives such as the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), reinforcing the event’s growing relevance for businesses across the region.
